Hi, I’m Ilja Krecic — an Italian-Slovene student of innovation, politics, and development. I’m currently completing my MSc in Innovation Management at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies and the University of Trento.

I’m exploring how venture capital, innovation ecosystems, geopolitics, and long-term societal strategy shape the future of the West. My interests span national development, global competitiveness, space, and human longevity — and how individuals and institutions can drive meaningful change across those frontiers.

I speak Italian, Slovene, and English fluently, and have also studied German (though it’s a bit rusty now). I’ve lived, studied, or worked across Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and the U.S. — experiences that continue to shape how I think about innovation, identity, and the future of civilization.
